For the NFT family
NFTs are booming and it is such a blessing for people who are love creating art.
Larva labs had created a collection called Crypto Punks, which was an inspiration for ERC-721 standard for NFTs. And there has been no looking back for NFT, since then. Many artists have jumped in and minted amazing art works, keeping the NFT and art enthusiasts busy.
Few months later, another amazing creative project called Punks baby was released, as illegitimate offspring of OG Punks. I found it funny and interesting. …
The SSH protocol (also referred to as Secure Shell) is a method for secure remote login from one computer to another.
Creating SSH keys generated two sets of keys — my_key and my_key.pub. The key with .pub extension is the public key which can be shared to the outer world. The other file is a private key which should not be shared.
$ ssh_keygen -t rsa
There are many algorithms that the SSH employs to generate keys,
rsa is one those. We can choose any algorithms from a set of available algorithms like rsa, dsa, dh etc.
Adding your Public…
This was a story that happened at least once a week. My friends and I use Swiggy almost all the time we order food. Mindless scrolling through restaurants without any clue of what I wanted, ate away a lot of time and money. I had decided to set weekly budgets for my expenditure in Swiggy and it was pretty tough to keep a tab on it.
So, I happened to look at the orders page of Swiggy and I felt showing order stats would be helpful for a lot of people like me.
There are lots of storage types that the browser offers, it makes it easier when we know how to use, when to use and why to use those.
The mostly used types of storages are Web Storage API (local storage, session storage), Cookies (persistent, session cookies) and Indexed DB.
The other types of storages are WebSQL (not implemented in Firefox, Edge, IE) and Cache API (part of Service worker, which we could discuss in another post)
Web SQL is still not a recognised standard and not recommended to be used. Also, Application Cache is deprecated.
Let’s go through the differences…
Whenever the HTML parser requires a resource (js or css file) from the network, it notifies the network layer to fetch the resource.
The network layer, which a asynchronous module, downloads the resource and gives it to the synchronous html parser. Note that the resources from <style> tag (css files) are fetched asynchronously and the resources of <script> tag (js files) are fetched synchronously, meaning, the html parser is stopped until the resource is fetched and executed.
It is recommended to place the script tags at the end of the html document, right before </body>. Now, the html parser would’ve…
I’ve always been in awe of the cool animations that the developers post in codepen. Also, often seeing myself drooling over the mechanism of epicycles and other animations in codepen, I wanted to try something with it, just for the fun of it.
While coding, I wanted the code to be able to generate this animation for any picture that is given. So, here is what I tried.
Here are the videos of other animations that the code played out,
Sania Mirza for you,
And then, there’s me, 😛

Recently, I came across a problem called, Trapping Rain water and below is my solution to it.
(or jump to solution below)
Given n non-negative integers representing an elevation map where the width of each bar is 1, compute how much water it is able to trap after raining.
Cloud Vision API allows developers to easily integrate vision detection features within applications, including image labelling, face and landmark detection, optical character recognition (OCR), and tagging of explicit content.
It enables developers to detect text in any image using programming language of our choice, without any experience in machine learning.
To quickly start using Cloud Vision API, it is essential to create a Google Cloud Platform project. You can create or select a project and enable API for the project here. Follow the instructions to set up the environment variable as well.
After you’ve selected a project and enabled API…
